we aim to prepare students for the versitile and exciting world of Digital Media
Learn Digital Imaging using Adobe Photoshop, including processing digital images, digital drawing and artwork, graphic design and more
Learn how to plan, shoot and edit your own film masterpiece! Take control of the camera and learn Adobe Premiere to create your own original film
Create your own original soundtrack for a chosen piece of film. Learn Logic and GarageBand audio recording software to create professional sound pieces
Learn to design your own original websites and create an online portfolio of work, perfect for showcasing your skills and applying for future work
Learn to use a range of Cameras and Accessories for photography and film, including a tripod, jib, slider, dolly, steadicam and more
Learn to create exciting and engaging professional presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and Keynote and deliver a presentation to the group

More than 120,000 people a year benefit from the Nerve Centre’s wide-ranging programme of arts events, cutting edge projects, creative learning centres, training opportunities, and state-of-the-art production facilities. A successful social economy enterprise, the Nerve Centre employs more than 40 staff at sites in Derry~Londonderry and Belfast.
Our Full-Time courses include Creative Media, Film and Video Produciton and Music Production. The courses run from September to June each year, are open to anyone 16+ and are completely free. The courses benefit from a broad range of ages and experience levels in each group and applicants do not need any prior experience, just a positive attitude and a passion for learning new creative skills.
